Come, come whoever you are,
An unbeliever, a fire-worshipper, come.
Our covenant is not of desperation.
Even if you have broken your vows a hundred times,
Come, come again.

The need to be clean

Imam ibn al-Jawzi رحمت الله was once asked:

"Is it better for me to make Tasbeeh (Praise Allah)?

or

to make Istighfaar (seek forgiveness)?"

He replied:

"The dirty robe is more in need of soap than perfume!"

Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law [Taurat], the Gospel [Injeel], and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.

"Wa innahu la-ilmu'l ISA ati:
falla tam tarunna bi ha wa tabbi uni:

"And Jesus shall be a Sign (for the coming of the Hour) (Of Judgment):
therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow Me:
This is a Straight Path."

Qur'an 43:61

Let us consider this Sign today as we pray and seek the Way of The Almighty, and All Powerful in our lives today.

Wa Qurabbi Ziidni-ilma!
(O Lord advance me in thy knowledge!)
This is one of the great desires of my heart. That Almighty Allah, Hei Rabbil Allamin, (Lord of the Universe), would advance and take me deeper into the ways of His knowledge and understanding. As this Arabic verse goes… So it is that I walk, step by step, further down this road of life. Every day is one more opportunity to draw near unto Him, nearer to His Light, nearer to truly lasting Joy.
As I bring thoughts and comments to this blog, it is my desire to foster, encourage, and spur others on. Those to whom may be pursuing a similar journey towards Al Khaliq, (The Creator).
I welcome any thoughts or comments of those who might be seeking Al Samad, (The Eternal).
May the Peace of Allah guide all who seek Him!
